Shaquille O’Neal was sold on the Boston Celtics by all the championships they have won and the chance to win another. The Celtics’ 38-year-old new center was introduced at a news conference on Tuesday after signing a two-year deal for the veterans’ minimum salary with the defending Eastern Conference champions.

NBA schedule released: LeBron returns to Cleveland on Dec. 2
LeBron James’ homecoming game is set for Dec. 2. The NBA’s 2010-11 schedule, released Tuesday, sends James and the Miami Heat to Cleveland that night for the MVP’s first game in Ohio as the visitor.

Void filled: 15-time All-Star Shaquille O’Neal to Celtics
The Big Shamrock it is. Veteran center Shaquille O’Neal, 38, signed a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, giving the Celtics another piece to their version of a super-team, albeit older than the one the Miami Heat assembled with guard Dwyane Wade and forwards LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
